How much does an MOT test cost?

Below are the official MOT testing fees given by the UK government (2012).
These are maximum prices a garage or testing centre can charge for an MOT check. In many cases testing centres will be cheaper. Find an independent MOT centre near you.

Classes 1 and 2 (class 1 engine size up to 200 cc)

Class 3 (up to 450 kg unladen weight)

Class 4
